Land of Excess doesn’t usually feature townhouses, but we found this view of an end unit townhouse in Potomac, MD so arresting that it was hard to look away. Did the architect think we wouldn’t notice? Is it wearing a hat or something?  Those bricks must be begging for mercy, and wishing that that giant hat and the fake shutters and the fake window mullions and that ill-conceived mess over the front door would just go away.  All yours for UNDER $1,000,000, with 3 full and 1 partial bath, garaging for 2, and 3 bedrooms.
