8601-Tebbs-front

This photograph fills Land of Excess with wonder.  Does it show this place at its BEST?  Is this miserable heap of construction materials priced at $4,900,000 in McLean, VA really sited such that it will get very little direct sun excepting into its GARAGE?  Oh happy cars!  And what new little inventions are these vestiges of dormers [or are they some other purpose-based architectural element the name of which we forget at the moment?]  They appear to our gimlet eye to be ideally suited to mechanization such that they can move up and down like eyebrows, to be activated by pressure sensitive devises under the driveway as one approaches.   The online real estate listing says that this place comes with 6 bedrooms and 6 full and 2 partial baths and garaging for 4.
